
Nathaniel A. Agan, School Principal
Mr. Agan is the inaugural Head of School, having joined at the opening of the School in January 2015. He has played a key role in laying a strong foundation for Academic performance and rapid institutional development. He is a graduate Primary School Teacher (P1 Grade) with vast experience in the Teaching profession and specializes in Mathematics and Religious Studies. The School fraternity is pleased, and proud to have him continue to lead the School, to even greater heights, and we continue to pray for good health, and God’s blessings upon him. He says: “The School now needs to diversify, especially in Co-Curricular Activities, such as Arts, Sports and Drama, to attract greater enrollment. The school has excelled in leadership contests at the zone and, sub-county levels. Clearly, the sky is the limit for our pupils, and higher achievement will be attained by additional resource allocations towards facilities improvements and increased personnel.


Phanuel Okello Ogut is the Deputy Principal, and a graduate Primary School Teacher. He is diverse in subject coverage, handling Maths in Grades 3 and 4, Social Studies also in Grade 4, and Science in Grades 6 and 8.
He says: “Sare Silver Springs, being a community School, is special in nature. It gives learners a solid foundation in matters Academic, Spiritual, Agriculture, community engagement, and Sports, and that, this diversity in study fields is a sure factor in shaping up young learners to holistic development. This gives a wonderful opportunity for me to be part of a future successful society. Therefore, I tremendously enjoy teaching at the School.”

Jane Aoko Odira, is new to the school. She has a Primary School Teacher certification, and has a specialization in Environmental Studies, Religious Studies, English, and Social Studies, and is an avid Volleyball player and Athlete.
She says: “I was attracted to come to Sare Silver Springs School because of its reputation as a high performing School. It is unique in setting, as a Community School, and very friendly”.

Irene Awino, is one of our Pioneer Teachers at the Early Childhood Development level. She is experienced in Child Care, and Development. Her expertise is in language Development, Math, Religious and Environmental Studies for the Pre-Primary students.
She says: “I like Sare Silver Springs School because it is friendly, Church leaning, disciplined, and, because the administration empowers the team, and works hard to engage parents in addressing school matters. I also like it because it offers employees the opportunity to train and move higher up in the Teaching Profession”.

Richard Ogonda Kogogo is a Senior Teacher, also a graduate Primary School Teacher, but with a difference. He is brilliant, forthright, sporty, dependable, and a darling of the learners. His demeanour at school speaks volumes about his potential to advance to greater heights in the Teaching Profession.
He says: “ Sare Silver Springs School is one of the best schools in the region, and is a beacon of hope for young learners aspiring to become professionals in such fields as leadership, medicine, engineering, architecture, education, economics, and the like . It is endowed with a small team of religiously dedicated Teachers who are morally and spiritually upright, inculcating a high degree of discipline among both teachers, and the pupils, in and out of school. The school provides an amiable study platform which has enabled it to be achieve its goal of being a Centre of Excellence, judging by its above average performance in National Examinations. I am happy to be part of the School”.

Beatrice Otieno, is particularly good in immediate post-early childhood education (Grades 1 and 2). She specializes in languages, and Early Literacy.
She says “Sare Silver Springs School has cultivated a sense of high discipline, and good performance which makes it better than most schools in the region. The student /teacher ratio is ideal for good academic performance, and character formation. Security is tight, and the learning environment is friendly and conducive for good performance”.
